I started writing code in late 2020, on my own, then enrolled in a 2000 hour development course in Barcelona to do it properly. I have been paid to write software since 2022.
Most of what I do is client work with real constraints: legacy systems to migrate, an accessibility audit to pass, a content team that needs to ship without me, and pages that still have to be quick on a mid range Android.
These days a good share of my time goes to the people side of it, onboarding developers and arguing the groundwork through before anyone opens an editor.
Away from the screen I build PCs, play cricket, watch too many films, and get out of the city to walk.
